In deepest rural Ireland, on the edge of a lake in Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, is home of The Shed Distillery and PJ Rigney. PJ created The Shed Distillery with its medieval copper pot stills and began a quest to fuse oriental botanicals with the local Irish ones. As it turned out, they got on very well indeed. This gin is distilled with more than 12 oriental botanicals, gunpowder tea, and a hint of Sardinian citrus - one of the rarest citrus fruits in the world found only on the island of Sardinia. The botanicals include a big base of juniper with a savoury overlay of coriander seed, rosemary, olive leaf, olive oil, bay leaf, lemon myrtle, macadamia, orris root, and fresh lemon and grapefruit. Fresh ingredients were vapour infused while the others macerated in the pot. Four Pillars have used olive leaf and oil from the Picual, Hojiblanca and Coratina varieties. This gin is savoury, textural and bright. Perfect for any Martini - Gibson, dirty, or dry with a twist. For a longer drink try it in a Spanish-inspired Gin & tonic, with rosemary and lemon!

Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin is crafted to deliver the best of all worlds: a perfect, classic gin and also something that would fascinate and delight even the most hardened gin fanatic. It's spicy but with great citrus, a truly modern Australian gin. Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin captures the essence of contemporary Australia's heritage in Europe and Asia. We're using whole oranges which is unusual but Australian citrus is highly aromatic and supports the spicier botanicals like cardamom. The cinnamon and star anise add rich fruitcake tones, the Tasmanian pepperberry leaf provides warmth rather than heat, and the lemon myrtle is a beautiful alternative to lemon peel.

Spiced Negroni Gin is made specifically for the Negroni, to cut through Campari and vermouth. It is a highly aromatic, rich and spicy gin with great power and intensity. Four Pillars use spices like Tasmanian pepperberry leaf, cinnamon, West African spice Grains of Paradise and Indonesian cubeb to up the flavour. Plus they add fresh ginger to the botanical basket to help lift the spice, and they opened up the plates in the still to add weight and intensity.
