Cheese Toastie

This cheese toastie is off the hook! It's maxed out with bacon and mayo and is SCREAMING for a food match of a creamy yet acidic chardonnay.

  1. Fry off 3 strips of streaky bacon until golden and crispy
  2. Butter two slices of bread on 1 side. 
  3. Spread the other sides with your favourite mayonnaise, grated cheddar and bacon. 
  4. Close the sandwiches buttered side out and toast in a clean frying pan or griddle over until crisp, about 4 minutes per side. 
  5. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve with your fave drop of chardonnay!
  6. Enjoy!
Even though this toastie is awesome as it is, you could mix it up by adding fried onions or spice up your mayo with some tomato relish or a touch of heat from sriracha chili sauce! Nom nom!
